We teamed with FUJITAKA, a proud Imabari Towel manufacturer with over 90 years of towel-making history and expertise to produce this particular towel. We created a towel that is made of gauze material on one side and traditional pile on the other, allowing users to enjoy the benefits of both weaves. Gauze provides smooth texture and quick drying speed, while traditional pile provides plush volume and high absorbency. For yarn we turned to FUJITAKA’s F90, a special thread spun from premium grade Indian SHANKAR6 cotton known for its durable, lightweight, and absorbent qualities. UMI results in a lightweight, soft, quick-drying towel which will increase in volume and better-conform to your skin the more you use and wash.
