International Shipping Guide

1. From Ehime to the World

All orders are carefully prepared and shipped directly from our shop in Ehime, Japan, home of Imabari towel craftsmanship.

• United States: Orders are shipped by Japan Post EMS using a duty-prepaid service.
• Other destinations: Available shipping methods may include Japan Post EMS or Yamato International, depending on the destination and current service availability.
• Hong Kong and Taiwan: Due to our existing distribution arrangements, we are currently unable to ship directly to these destinations.

Shipping availability will be shown at checkout. If your country is not listed, please contact us, and we will be happy to confirm whether delivery is possible.

2. Shipping Fees

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the estimated packed weight of your order.

The shipping charge will be displayed after you enter your delivery address. We do not add a separate handling surcharge to the shipping fee shown at checkout.

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Customs requirements and import charges vary by destination.

United States

Applicable import duties and related charges are calculated and collected at checkout. Your order is then shipped by Japan Post EMS using a duty-prepaid service, helping you avoid unexpected duty charges upon delivery.

Customs authorities retain final authority over import assessments and may request additional information or make adjustments. If you receive an unexpected request for payment, please contact us before paying it.

Other International Destinations

Unless checkout specifically states otherwise, import duties, VAT, customs clearance charges, and similar fees are not included in your order total. These charges are determined by the destination country and must be paid by the recipient.

Customs documents will show the actual amount paid for the merchandise after any applicable discounts. We cannot declare an order at a lower value or mark a commercial order as a gift.

If a shipment is refused, left unclaimed, or returned because required charges were not paid, any refund will be handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.

4. Processing and Delivery

• Order processing: In-stock items are normally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
• Estimated delivery: International delivery generally takes approximately 4–10 business days after dispatch.
• Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs inspections, local delivery conditions, weather, or carrier disruptions. If your shipment appears significantly delayed, please contact us, and we will help determine the appropriate next step.
