Shipping policy

At IORI, each order is carefully prepared and shipped from our shop in Ehime, Japan, with the same attention to quality and care we put into our towels. Please review the information below to understand how your international order is processed and delivered.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Dispatch: Orders are typically prepared and shipped within 1–3 business days of purchase.

  • Notifications: If your order requires additional processing time, we will notify you immediately via email.

2. Shipping Methods & Rates

Shipping fees are calculated in real-time based on the weight of your order and the destination country.

  • Direct Carrier Rates: IORI charges for shipping at the actual rate provided by our carriers (Japan Post EMS and Yamato International). We do not add any markups or handling surcharges.

  • Live Quotes: Applicable shipping fees are displayed in your shopping cart once you enter your delivery address.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

  • Transit: Estimated delivery is generally 4–10 business days after dispatch.

  • Origin: All orders are shipped directly from Ehime Prefecture, Japan.

  • Note on Delays: Delays may occur due to customs inspections, 2026 trade regulation updates, or local delivery procedures beyond our control.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes (Recipient Responsibility)

International packages are subject to import taxes, VAT, or customs fees depending on the destination country.

  • Payment: These charges are not included in our prices and are collected by your local courier upon delivery.

  • Refused or Unclaimed Shipments: If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid duties or unsuccessful delivery attempts, it will be subject to a Net Refund.

  • Deductions: In these cases, original shipping, return shipping, and non-refundable transaction fees will be deducted from your total refund. Please see our [Return Policy] for the full calculation.

5. Tracking Information

Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to you by email. Tracking allows you to follow your shipment from our shop in Ehime to your door. We recommend monitoring your tracking closely to ensure you are available for delivery.

6. Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package departs Japan, delivery is handled by the destination country’s postal service or courier.

  • Support: While we are happy to assist with inquiries, IORI has limited control over international delivery operations outside Japan.

  • Action Required: For delayed or missing shipments, customers may be asked to contact their local courier directly using the provided tracking information to resolve delivery issues.

7. Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be canceled once they have been dispatched from our shop. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to cancel an order.
